Join us @ Bloodfest this weekend

Don’t have time to get your package delivered before Bloodfest this weekend? Never fear! For the first time ever, the Ruck Science team will be setting up a stall at a Rugby 7s tournament. 

What we’ll have available

Our Atlanta-based warehouse has shipped us a bunch of product for this weekend’s Bloodfest tournament. 

Here’s a quick overview of what we’ll have available for purchase:

• Rugby Whey x 10 – a great recovery tool. We would recommend having some at the end of the day’s play. You won’t need a huge amount of protein in your 7s diet, but for recovery, It’s perfect. 
• Pre-Game x 10 – if you read our article about rugby 7s nutrition earlier this week, you’ll know we don’t suggest the use of caffeine-based supplements for rugby 7s, but pick some up for your next gym session!

Tournament Information

• Register early! Bloodfest sold out at 72 teams last year.
• The tournament will be a sanctioned USA Rugby Tournament
  
  • All teams must complete the online registration (including payment)
  • All teams must submit a completed and fully CIPPed roster.
  • They can get a copy to fill out at: http://www.texasrugbyunion.com -> Forms -> Sevens Roster
  • Remember no team is registered fully until they have sent us their roster.
  • Easy to fill out. Easy to Download as a .pdf document and send it to us.
  • Easy to send us updated rosters all the way up to the morning of the tourney. 
  • All teams must check-in on the day of the tournament.
    • Check-in begins at 8:00 AM by the concession stand.
• Captain’s meeting is scheduled for 8:30 AM
• First kick-offs as early as 9:00 AM.
• This is a big tournament!
  • Given the number of teams, we need to start on time.
  • We are running 8 fields! Expect your first match to happen in the first hour.

  • NE Metro has expanded their parking since last year. 
  • But they will ticket cars that are illegally parked and we must ensure emergency vehicles have access.
  • Food trucks and concessions will be at the park.
