The Ruck Science team would like to take this opportunity to announce our latest partnership with the Louisville Rugby Football Club from Louisville Kentucky. The agreement, which is set to begin on the 21st day of June, 2016 gives Louisville RFC full access to the Ruck Science sponsorship program and advertising network which can be used by the club to demonstrate value to its other sponsors.
Established in 1969, Louisville RFC provides players from all backgrounds the opportunity to compete in high level rugby around the nation. LRFC has been a part of the Louisville community for over 40 years. New and Experienced players are always welcome to join the club and experience the absolute best that rugby has to offer. Whether you are a newcomer to Rugby, or an experienced player, Louisville RFC is open to everyone with training times and directions listed on the club’s website which you can find here: louisvillerugby.com.
The club plays in USA Rugby’s Midwest Division III South, against teams from Lexington, Cincinnati, and Columbus, OH. The fall season is made up of mainly league matches, but the spring season allows LRFC to travel to various tournaments and social locations to play some great clubs. Recent friendly opponents have included teams from Chattanooga, Chicago, Dayton, and Kalamazoo. The LRFC also participates in the National Club 7s competitions during the summer and even hosts its own tournament called the ‘Derby City 7s’ in May. This year’s tournament featured a dozen teams playing a really high standard of 7s Rugby in the summer heat.
