80 BRAIN PROTOCOLS

We’ve been testing different 80 Brain formulas for about 9 months now. In that time we’ve also been measuring and comparing results to determine the best protocol for using cognitive nootropics. Here’s what we’ve learned since using 80 Brain ourselves:

Before Rugby Training

It’s best to get the nootropic into your system at least 20 minutes before training. Cognitive supplements will last well over 80 minutes in health person’s body, so don’t be worried about needing to top-up during training or at half time in a game. We suggest taking it with about 500ml of water. Staying hydrated is essential. If you’re getting a bit parched bro, then no volume of cognitive enhancement is going to help. Your brain needs water. Do that first and then start working on your nootropic protocol.

Before Rugby Games

Same kind of deal. Except we actually suggest using slightly less (about a half dose) of the nootropic during rugby games. Training is where you really need to be committing things to memory, games are where you’ll be bring that info back. It’s the storage of the information that’s the most difficult for your brain. We suggest focusing on training as much as possible. The effects will show themselves on Saturday if you’re doing the work during the week.

At the Gym

You can definitely take a cognitive enhancer while you’re at the gym, but we don’t actually recommend this for the majority of rugby players. If you’ve somehow gotten lost and you’re actually looking for a pre-workout or performance supplement to assist with strength development, head back over to the collections page. Why don’t you need a cognitive enhancer for going to the gym?

Mostly because your brain isn’t taking in a lot of new information. Yes, you’re exerting yourself physically, but there’s no plays to learn or calls to remember. Will it help? Sure, your focus will improve, but you can get the same effect from a caffeine-based gym supplement too.

TRANSPARENT LABELING

We are committed to providing the cleanest supplements on the market. That’s why none of our new supplements (including 80 Brain) will contain proprietary blends. The new 80 Brain formula will be released in August of 2017. But in the mean time,  know your supplements and let’s help keep rugby clean

I’ve used this both before training and during the workday. I’ve noticed I’m more sharp when it comes to training and my to-do list at work. It’s nothing super crazy, but its enough to notice that its worth a shot! I’m going to continue to use this.

The hardest part of rugby is keeping your mental fitness positive and determined. 80 Brain does just that. With a little help from Beet Elite or Twitch Faster Pre-Workout, 80 Brain keeps me tuned in to my workout/practice/match. I have tried 80 Brain in both 15s and 7s. Being a more mental game of rugby, 80 Brain works the best for 7s due to the spam of the game. 80 Brain also is a helpful supplement for working, and staying focus at whatever task you have in front of you.

I was skeptical of this product at first but decided to give it a try since the company donates a portion of the proceeds to the rugby club of my choice. I am a big fan now. I have noticed I feel more focused at work and at training now that I am taking this. Highly recommended!

Quality product for overall mental focus. I can definitely feel a difference in mental acuity. I use this both for rugby and for general work purposes. Equally effective.

I actually used this product for work. My job is mentally taxing, so I thought I’d give them a try for that specific reason. Throughout my days using this, I felt a bit more focused, and able to carry out my day much easier.

Probably one of my favorite products so far. I was definitely skeptical of something that claimed to increase mental focus and memory recall however this product really does the trick. I’ve noticed that I remember much more from practices. The biggest difference for me is actually remembering details from games, normally it’s all a bit hazy and I have to watch film to refresh my memory of everything. When I take this before a game however I come off the field knowing exactly what I did, which greatly improves my ability to get better week to week

Ok so it’s not that magical, but I definitely felt more focused and determined to “just do it” as a certain swooshy athletic company would say.

My job is pretty mentally draining, but I didn’t get much help from this product. I’m naturally a very forgetful person, so maybe it’s not for me. Still willing to give it a shot during a game though.

I believe this product works well but I was only able to use it for a few days before I discovered a drug interaction with a medical medication I have to take daily. The biggest concern in this supplement is St. John’s Wort Blend. St. John’s Wort actually interacts and decreases the efficacy of many different medications people take on a daily basis. So educate yourself on its use with your daily medications before starting a regimen.

I haven’t got to use this as much as I would like (only in the gym, not on the field or at training yet), but I did notice I was more focused during my workout as I tend to get easily distracted. I would definitely be interested in trying it out in the classroom as well

This product is alright. I think makes me slightly more focused during training but it’s nothing super significant. Definitely still worth using though

I just started using this product and it’s my first mental enhancing product ever. It is actually surprising how well this product works. My brain feels like a god on this stuff.
