OUR PRO TRAINING STACK
Until recently, Ruck Science had a glaring hole in our product offering. That is, we had no supplements that were made specifically for during players to use during their recovery. That’s all changed with the release of Post-Rugby, a complex formula of BCAAs, Creatine and Electrolytes. As the name suggest, it’s designed to be the perfect fuel for post-rugby recovery.
But this combination of ingredients also make it an ideal formula for rugby players to use during training periods to help fuel lean muscle development and sustained training outputs (e.g. during pre-season). PRO TRAINING PROTOCOLS
Most rugby players using our Ruck Training Pro stack should be fairly familiar with the use of nutritional supplements and stacks both at rugby training and in the gym. But for those who are not, here’s our breakdown of the protocols for this stack.
Since rugby training usually takes place in the evening, we recommend that you limit your intake of Twitch Faster to a single scoop about 30mins before training starts. During the session, use Post-Rugby as an intra-workout mixed into about 16oz of water. Sip regularly during the session and complete when you’re finished. Before you go to bed have a single scoop of Rugby Whey with 10-12 oz of water or milk.
If your gym session is later in the day, follow a similar protocol to your rugby training formula. But if you’re training earlier in the day, feel free to take a full scoop of Twitch Faster in about 12oz of water both before and during your workout. Then consume Post-Rugby immediately after the session has finished with Rugby Whey coming about 30mins later.
