Ruck Training (Pro)

This stack combines our pre-workout, whey protein and post-game recovery formula. It really is the perfect supplement stack for rugby players who are in the off-season or pre-season training periods.

Most rugby players using our Ruck Training Pro stack should be fairly familiar with the use of nutritional supplements and stacks both at rugby training and in the gym. Click here for stack-specific protocols.

Until recently, our range of supplements didn’t include a product specifically for the hours after a rugby game. That all changed in 2017 with the release of Post-Game, a complex formula of BCAAs, Creatine and Electrolytes.

This mix of ingredients also make it an ideal formula for rugby players to use during training periods to help fuel lean muscle development and sustained training outputs (e.g. during pre-season).

Our Pro training stack combines Pre-Game, Post-Game and Rugby Whey to provide a comprehensive nutrition base for pre-season rugby training.

Pre-Game is a potent pre-workout powder. Boost your energy levels without the crash. Ideal for use during rugby games and training. Add a single scoop of Pre-Game to 16oz of water about 20 mins before rugby games and training.

Post-Game is the first supplement designed for use after rugby games. Contains optimal amounts of BCAAs, Creatine & Electrolytes for recovery. Optimize your recovery by taking Post-Game within 30mins of finishing rugby games or gym sessions.

Rugby Whey protein powder is designed to decrease your recovery time and leave you feeling fully recovered after rugby games. Repair muscle damage, recover from weight training and build lean muscle with the only whey protein made for ruggers.

Since rugby training usually takes place in the evening, we recommend that you limit your intake of Pre-Game to a single scoop about 30mins before training starts. During the session, use Post-Game as an intra-workout mixed into about 16oz of water. Sip regularly during the session and complete when you’re finished. Before you go to bed have a single scoop of Rugby Whey with 10-12 oz of water or milk.

If your gym session is later in the day, follow a similar protocol to your rugby training formula. But if you’re training earlier in the day, feel free to take a full scoop of Pre-Game in about 12oz of water both before and during your workout. Then consume Post-Game immediately after the session has finished with Rugby Whey coming about 30mins later.

This stack rocks!!! The intra-workout was something you guys really needed to add. Good stuff. Good flavors. Really good price point. Can’t really complain at all.
