St. John’s wort inhibits the uptake of serotonin, dopamine, GABA, glutamate and norepinephrine. Inhibiting the neuronal uptake of these neurotransmitters can have a profound effect on depression and mood. St. John’s wort extract decreases oxidative stress, prevents neurotoxicity, and brain inflammation. (4)

My job is pretty mentally draining, but I didn’t get much help from this product. I’m naturally a very forgetful person, so maybe it’s not for me. Still willing to give it a shot during a game though.
