The physical demands of rugby will leave players with residual aches, pains and muscle soreness. But the recovery period after a game is also the best possible time to increase lean muscle mass through targeted nutrition. Rugby Whey protein powder is designed to decrease your recovery time by providing your body its optimal fuel.
Current Rugby Whey Vanilla & Chocolate OUT OF STOCK – BACK IN STOCK MARCH 2023
We recommend taking a single scoop of Rugby Whey whenever you’re recovering from a rugby game or training session.
PRO TIP: if you’re in a bulking phase, set a 2am alarm and have a scoop with 12 oz of water. This is our #1 diet tip for adding muscle.
There’s no bad time to use whey protein. But on Tuesday and Thursday, you’re probably best not taking it immediately before rugby training. We suggest keeping it in the car and making a shaker to drink on the drive home.
If you’re serious about recovering fast, Rugby Whey should form the basis of your post-game nutrition stack. The 24 hours after a rugby game are the perfect time to build muscle. Take a scoop of whey protein right after your game and again before bed.
Whether it’s a rugby game, a gym session or even summer 7s training, you need high-quality fuel for recovery. Rugby Whey is an ideal training companion to help boost protein synthesis, reduce recovery time and build lean muscle.
As part of our commitment to #keeprugbyclean, we’ve done away with proprietary blends in our supplements.

The taste is fine, which is phenomenal as far as most protein powders I’ve tried. I use slightly less water than recommended cuz I like the taste a bit stronger, and it mixes well. Not perfect, but well. Less “chunky” than OJ with pulp.

I tried both the chocolate and vanilla Rugby Whey powders and both taste amazing. They seem to mix well whether you are using water, milk, soy milk, almond milk. Definitely will pick up some more after finishing the other brand I was using!

I’m not a huge fan of whey powder, and I probably never will be. However, this Ruck Science product is FAR less icky than anything else I’ve tried thus far. My trainer likes it too!

I was introduced to Rugby Whey in the Sample Stack and it’s definitely the best tasting protein powder I’ve ever tasted. It mixes easily and completely and the texture is smooth. It’s easy enough to drink after a hard training session. I’ll continue to get Rugby Whey and support them over other whey powders because Ruck Science supports the ruggers of the world.

Of all the protein powders I’ve gulped down with a grimace, this one I took down with a smile. The powder dissolves really well, does not have a gritty texture, and actually tastes pretty good. The amount of protein per serving is pretty average from others I’ve seen and or used, but that’s not a negative, because this is not (and should not be) my only source of protein for the day.

Doesn’t have the strong overbearing taste of some whey products and mixes well with water (or Gatorade for the other crazies out there). What more can you ask for from a whey product?

Very pleased to find this product. The taste is top quality. It mixes easily and is very smooth–important to me, since many powders are chunky. The price is right and the quality great. I also like that my club gets a cut and that I can support a rugby-centric company.

This stuff is great! It taste like cake and can be mixed with anything. 24g isn’t a lot per serving but if I need to pack a lot of protein away two scoops will do me.
