Ruck Science are excited to announce a new corporate partnership with one of the oldest rugby clubs in the great state of Ohio, Findlay Rugby. After several months of discussion with their management team, both organizations are no please to confirm that the partnership, between Findlay Rugby Club, and Ruck Science, LLC will begin in January of 2017.
The Scars have already received several donations from Ruck Science towards the end of 2016, and this partnership will allow us to increase the size and scope of those donations. The Scars will look to use donated funds to help support local rugby events, social outings and to purchase equipment for practice sessions during the 2017 rugby season. The Findlay Scars Rugby Club was founded in 1972, and field a div4 side in the Michigan Rugby Union’s Midwest League. The club’s goal is to play competitive rugby, to teach and encourage rugby fundamentals to new players and fans, be a positive ambassador for the game, and of course, to promote a good ol’ enjoyable after game social.
FRC play both fall and spring seasons: The fall season is league play where the Scars complete for the Midwest Championship. In the spring, FRC play a variety of clubs from both college and men’s clubs. FRC also host and compete in summer 7’s and 10’s competitions, as well as out of state tournaments in Georgia and Tennessee.
