The Fairbanks Sundawgs is a team in Alaska primarily composed of military personnel, firefighters, and local rugby players from Interior Alaska. The team originated back in the 1980s and holds the title as the āFarthest Northern Rugby Teamā in North America. The Sundawgs currently compete in Division 2 of the Alaska Oosik Rugby Union. They recently finished their season going undefeated in the state tournament.
Fairbank Sundawgs RFC is always on the lookout for new players and fresh faces. For anyone wanting to assist in keeping their state tournament pride in Fairbanks, the Sundawgs hold practice Tuesdays from 6-8pm and Saturday beginning at 1pm at the University of Alaska – Fairbanks field.
The Fairbanks Sundawgs are primarily fit military personnel, they constantly take supplements to assist in their daily training regimen.
