The team at Ruck Science is pleased to announce our partnership with one of Arizona’s most successful clubs, Tucson Rugby. The partnership, between the Tuscon Rugby Club, and Ruck Science, LLC is set to begin on May 6th, 2016.
About Tucson Rugby
Tucson Rugby are one of the most active and successful rugby associations in Arizona. Founded in 1980 by three Arizona University players, The Magpies have consistently won not only championships at all levels, but also awards for sportsmanship, team spirit and pride. Their U-19 team, the Black Birds, are one of the top youth programs in Arizona.
Hosted by the Tucson Rugby Football Club, Pima County Stadium District, and Visit Tucson, the western portion of the National Quarterfinal/Semifinal weekend, May 21 and May 22, will be at the Kino Sports Complex and promises to be a showcase for rugby in the American southwest.
“The Tucson rugby community is truly an international rugby community with a rich history that reaches back nearly five decades,” said John Rouff of Tucson Rugby. “In the eighties and nineties the Michelob Classic brought international rugby clubs to Tucson on an annual basis, so we are excited to be able to reestablish Tucson as a rugby destination.”
