POST-RUGBY PROTOCOLS

Supplements are just what the name suggests. They should be used in conjunction with a diet rich is a variety of whole and natural foods. But getting the right blend of macro and micro nutrients in the minutes after rugby can be really tough. Here's how post-rugby can help you to re-fuel and recover for the next game or training session.

After Rugby Training

When rugby training ends, you're very likely going to head straight to your car and drive home. If the session ends at 9:00 or 9:30, you may be sitting stationary in the car until 10:00pm. It's during this window, before you're able to eat that post-rugby can be most effective. We suggest taking a full scoop in about 16oz of water while you're driving home. This is provide enough electrolytes to balance out your loss of salts through perspiration during the session and will also start the body healing major muscles through the absorption of creatine. 

After Rugby Games

Like with training, the window of time immediately after rugby games is crucial for recovery. But after rugby games, we have the added complication of staying around the club drinking post-match beers. Before you start those celebrations, we highly recommend taking a scoop of our post rugby formula. This time with 20oz of water.

After Hitting the Gym

The creatine and branch-chain amino acids contained in our post-rugby formula make it an ideal supplement for use after gym sessions.     The dragon fruit is a really mild flavored fruit to start with so without any additions it tastes pretty chalky. The results were great though, score is really just for the flavor.
